Coach Potts is entering 3rd year here in the Star City School District. He serves as the Assistant Girls Basketball Coach, Head Cross Country Coach, High School Health & ACT Prep Teacher, District & Athletic Webmaster, and as the Athletics Dragonfly Administrator. During the 2019-2020 season he was a part of the Ladydog Basketball team that went undefeated at 32-0 for the first time in school history. During that year they were also the Undefeated 8-4A Conference Champions, 4A South Regional Champions, and capped off the perfect season as the 4A State Champions.

Coach Potts grew up in Norfork, Arkansas which is located about 20 minutes south of Mountain Home and is nestled in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. He graduated in May of 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in K-12 Health and Physical Education from Arkansas Tech University where he also completed 6 graduate hours in Driver's Education.

From July 2016 to May 2019 he served as a Assistant Coach for 7-12 Girls Basketball, 7-12 Football, 7-12 Cross Country, and Varsity Baseball at Dover High School in Dover, AR. 

We are thrilled Coach Potts is here at Star City and we can not wait to see him continue to do great things in our athletic program and in the classroom. We know he will continue to make a positive impact in the lives of all students at Star City.
