Sam McGhee is the Defensive Coordinator for the Star City Bulldog Football Program. This is his 11th year at Star City. Prior to coming to Star City he coached at Woodlawn for one year before returning to "HOME" to his alma mater. He is a 1990 graduate of Star City High School.

Coach McGhee's wife, Summer,  is an APRN at Jefferson Regional. They have been married for 19 years. They have two daughters, Maelea and Maggie.
